Enterruption Exercises

Enterruption Exercises were series of daily art interventions created in a similar conceptual vein as Urban Napping. The piece involved rolling up a portable, motorcycle-sized parking space, and strapping it to my back. I would engage in Enterruption activity by using the roll to create parking spaces of my own choosing throughout the urban landscape. Interventions were documented, images one-hour photo developed, and then the cycle would be driven back to the gallery where it would be parked on the cycle space. Documentation photos along with debris from the site of the Enterruption were then displayed with accumulated documentation of previous Enterruption! events. A map of the geographic range of the interventions was displayed in the gallery. The map case could be opened and was also used to record daily adventures.
