Margarita Vasquez Cardenas, a Colombian born artist living in Ireland, and I, a Michigan born artist living in the deep rural woods of Ohio, decided to write a series of digital florigrams as an experiment in communication.  In "Conversations in Florigraphy" we focused  on the Victorian practice of sending messages through coded flower bouquets.   As a nod to the speed and accessibility of our time, we bypass the hand cultivation of each species and instead collage a global array of digitally captured flora found online. Each image is part of a specific conversation held between us,  and was sent electronically to the recipient's email inbox.  Each bouquet was then translated through an online florigraphy source derived from 18th and 19th  century floral dictionaries.
